2009-10 Season Outlook

The 2009 version of the Dalhousie Tigers women's cross country team have what it takes to avenge last year's second place AUS finish. Many senior athletes are returning and a handful of recruits are joining the team which will ensure an exciting season. This year the Tigers look forward to racing the AUS championships on their home course in Point Pleasant Park.

All-conference superstar, Caroline Schlosser will lead a pack of talented and determined runners including Cara Groves who is coming off an amazing summer season, and returning AUS scorers Stephanie Bennett and Valerie Christie. The Tiger squad also includes three Canada Games runners – 800m bronze medalist Celia Peters, steeplechaser Becki Reeves, as well as 5000m specialist and Tiger rookie Sarah Currie. This year's team boasts a fast top-end and impressive depth - two crucial ingredients for cross country success.

The Tigers will enjoy a full competition schedule including all the conference league meets and an interlock with the Quebec conference.
